Reflexology is an ancient healing art that teaches that every part of our body has a connection to our feet.
To put it simply, I can help you find balance in your body, mind, and spirit by manipulating your feet.
You may have seen charts like the one below in your life, this is a common reflexology chart that shows where the various parts of the body connect to the feet.
WHAT IS REIKI?
WHAT IS HOMEOPATHY?
WHAT IS AYURVEDA?
WHAT IS FAR- INFRARED AND STEAM SAUNA THERAPY?
WHAT IS GUA SHA?
WHAT IS TUI NA?
WHAT IS SHAMANISM?
Honestly? Anything! It’s pretty incredible what can happen after a session. For some, immediate relief is felt. For others a more difficult healing process begins.
If you are experiencing a difficult healing reaction, get in touch with me. I’m here to help you navigate this experience.
We’ll get you comfortable, take off your socks, and start talking about what’s brought you in. Over the course of the session you may feel physical, emotional, and even psychological responses to what’s happening in your feet. These reactions are both perfectly normal and different for every person. I’m with you the entire time to help guide you towards balance.
Afterwards, expect to feel calmer and more relaxed. If possible, have someone drive you to and from the appointment to allow you to fully relax after the session.
Reflexology, in my opinion, can be good for everyone. My passion is finding the integrative solutions for people for whom Western medicine has few or limited answers. Here are some of the things I specialize in helping with:
General Wellness
Chronic Physical Pain
Reoccurring Physical Issues
Autism Spectrum Issues
Sensory Integration Issues
Fertility issues and Pregnancy
Aging
Palliative Care
Post-Cancer Care
Neurological Issues
Neurosurgical Post-Care
Mental Health
My integrative approach to healing works with Western medicine, not as a replacement for its solutions. I would not be here without it.
During a typical session, I will rub, massage, bend, and stretch your feet to see how the various parts respond to touch. Pain, knots, range of movement, and other clues will help me discover the imbalances that are happening in your body.
We would then discuss possible connections between the systems that are in distress and the various events of your life. Often, old experiences tend to repeat themselves over and over until they are addressed so we may even discuss your past, your feelings, and other seemingly unrelated things. The healing process relies on your whole system - body, mind, spirit - being in balance. Reflexology and the other integrative healing arts I practice take into account everything that may be contributing to your imbalance.
